蓮住荘のさんかく 1 Renzu-sou no Sankaku 1 by Yoko Nogiri, 野切耀子

4.0

This was a fun, easy, and cute read. I really liked the concept of photography as a focus for the series, as well as the love triangle. It adds a fresh new spin, even if the love triangle is a bit cliche. I enjoyed the fact that Nogiri doesn't waste time with certain things, such as
SpoilerAmemura's mysterious past
or
Spoilera confrontation between the two love interests
. It was refreshing. I also really like the art in this, and the main character. While I'm not quite as oblivious as Mako, I did still quite enjoy that aspect of her. Again, a bit cliche, but since it was related so much to her passion for photography, I really didn't mind. Overall, I found this book to be a really excellent and enjoyable start to a new series, and I can't wait to read more! 4.5 stars. My only question is how long the series will be (I know Nogiri's other series, "That Wolf-boy is Mine!" is pretty short, at 4 volumes total, so I'm not sure if this one will follow suit).

This was such a fun reread! It's really easy (which is nice as a Japanese learner) and very cute, with pretty art, nice vibes, likable characters, and an interesting storyline. Recommended! 4 stars.
