I recently watched the adapted film for Lion and was completely drawn to the story that I wanted to read the book as well to see the missing gaps that films often miss out on. The story of Saroo is not only a true story but an incredible one as well and I particularly admire the resilience shown by Saroo both at the age of 5 as well as an adult. It’s a powerful reminder that when life throws challenges at you, you achieve more from it when you don’t give up.
