If I had read this book when I was a teenager I probably would have rated it five stars. As a 24 year old it is a little outside my age range, and it gave me flashbacks to high school. While it isn't necessarily in my age range anymore, I feel like this is an important book for anyone in high school, or anyone who may be questioning their gender identity. 
I am kind of sad that it did not end with a polyamorous relationship, but I understand why Felix's relationship with Declan would have been problematic due to how it began.
