I mean...look, I knew the dynamic between the main couple going in, which is why I avoided reading this one for so long. I can't open the "Dead Dove: Do Not Eat" bag and then act appalled that there's a dead dove in there. So despite the fact that the premise of this romance - student-teacher relationship(s) with Huge age gap(s) - is not my thing, I trusted this author to make me feel things anyway, and she did make me feel a lot of things. Thus: four stars. Nakamura's stories continue to be a sucking vortex of emotions that you can't stop reading, and I can't wait to go absolutely feral over O.B.'s official translation later this year!
