"...love may come and go, but hate lasts forever."

:Reread:

I've had a hard time reading lately. This is the roughest slump I've ever been in. I think audiobooks are going to be the short term solution for me until things get closer to normal again. I've also been going back through my favorites list, especially the ones I've been meaning to reread so I can complete the series.

I'm still a sucker for grumpy sunshine but I still keep this at a 4 star because of the tail end (not the actual ending though.)
When he leaves her while she's sick in a hospital bed, it's hard for me to feel sorry for the guy. I understand it's because he was scared but I am convinced I would have been 100% sold if somehow the big gesture was...more? Idk how one would do that but the gesture he made was because of her but it was also the right thing to do. Finding a way to big gesture directly to her as well would have sealed the deal for me. I just needed a pinch more there at the end.

All in all, this is still one of my favorite books and definitely a comfort read for me.
