Overall I liked this book and thought it provided a good detailed and clear overview into the biblical passages many Christian’s currently believe talk about homosexuality. However I felt it was shallow in terms of how it talked about sexuality now, and seemed to operate on very black and white, binary identities. Towards the end the book talked about lgbt Christians as a whole but throughout the book only really addressed and applied itself to the life of cisgender gay people. I think the book would’ve provided a more helpful perspective if it acknowledged bisexuality and transgender identities alongside its discussion of what the bible means for gay Christians today.
