Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas

2.5

I enjoyed the aspects of trauma and grief and the premise was good enough, but I found the middle part a bit boring, with no sense of actual urgency. I didn't particularly enjoy the romance either, there's issues with the pacing and the characters themselves. It was enjoyable enough, but I am once again reminded that YA retellings aren't my favourite.
