This book is beautiful and heartbreaking and one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. I do have a slight problem with the ending
the Maya reveal - why didn’t she call the police if it was truly an accident? Where we’re her prints in the bedroom and on the phone? We know they took prints so why was there never an explanation of another set of mystery prints. And why aren’t there any consequences for Maya?
