Pleasure Activism: The Politics of Feeling Good by adrienne maree brown

challenging informative reflective slow-paced

It was an interesting feeling to realize this book is not written for me - and that that is a feeling many, many people have all the time about most media. It was an eye-opening experience. That being said, I didn't connect super well to a lot of the themes, and while I definitely liked some essays, others I wasn't as interested in and it was a bit of slow slog for me. I do think it's certainly a book that many people could get something out of, and maybe something to be picked up and put down vs. read all in one go.
