I don’t think I’ve ever resonated with an MMC more. As someone who has their fair share of anxiety and anxious moments, this was handled so well. This sounds so silly but my favourite part was when Briana took photos of where Jacob could park when visiting Alexis as she knew how anxious he would be about it. 

That is literally me. I have to plan my outings around parking. 

And how cute is that, that without even knowing, without even really thinking about it, she did it. To make him feel more relaxed and at ease about attending somewhere unfamiliar. 

Urgh so beyond cute. 

It’s always the little thing in Abby Jimenez’s books that get me, those small character personality traits, the way they are, the things they do, the things going on in their head that always lead me to fall in love with her characters. She develops such genuine, realistic characters so well that I can’t help but love them. 

Cute, cute, cute, I loved.
