Honestly, I just didn't get it. I know it's a classic and is still a very controversial book to this day. Maybe I'm not "reading into" it enough or analyzing it in the right ways, but I found that it dragged on and there were chapters that went on forever wherein nothing really happened. I've wanted to read it for a while just to see what all the controversy was about, and I'm glad to have it crossed off my tbr, but I feel like I could have just skipped it?
