“Love isn’t meant to be hidden away and life is too short for shame.”
I’ll be totally honest, this was initially a guilty pleasure read and I didn’t give it much of a thought or much of a chance. However, the writing was decent, the story was engaging, and there were some definite moments where my heart was racing as the characters were getting ready to do some really stupid things. So a solid 3 star read.
And then the ending… and the tears… dammit all to hell…
Now I’m gonna have to read the other 14 or so books in the series. Sigh… lol
