This is a book I wish I'd read at the start of my investing journey. Much of what was in here, I have picked up over the years reading articles, listening to podcasts, and talking with investors. What Mary Buffett has done here is essentially create a guide on how to screen for promising stocks.
It is written in a relatively simple style and while Mary Buffett incessantly invokes Warren Buffet's name, there is clearly sound reasoning and good advice here, without the name dropping. She has split the book up into bite-sized and easily consumable components and has given folks a road map, if they have the patience and desire to follow it, on how to find quality companies.
Maybe not the most entertaining investing book I've read (that trophy has to go to either Peter Lynch or William Green), but probably the most useful.
Solid 4 stars. Pick it up off the shelf if you want to have a deeper understanding of investing.
