Little Dorrit
by Charles Dickens
I love Dickens and have set a goal to read all his novels. I am now down to just Our Mutual Friend. Little Dorrit was a real slog, though. The only one of his novel's I liked less was Martin Chuzzlewit. Little Dorrit was slow moving with too much going on. And yet, I'm still not sure if there was a ghost in Mrs. Clennam's house, or how what happened to it happened to it. I thought Mr. Blandois and Mr. Baptist were fairly useless characters as was the whole blackmail storyline. I would have been more interested in finding out how Fanny's life turned out.
