i read this book in one sitting and it was a very easy read.
the first half of it was so fun, i found the whole premise and the awareness of the author very interesting and unique.
i didn’t really like the whole “gay bff” trope, but that character wasn’t overly annoying, so i let it slide.
i was disappointed with the steamy scenes, if punk 57’s author joined, this book would be an almost perfect modern romance.
another annoyance was how the love interest was supposed to be really rude but we got very little of that and every time the author kept bringing it up it made me cringe a bit.
a good one sitting book, and it felt nice to read a third person perspective (although i would really love to see what adam was thinking in more detail)
