"I'm twenty years old, and all I wanted was to hear my mother's voice."

MY EYES ARE FCKING SCARLET! I'M CRYING AND IT'S SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL! The first time I met Logan from the first Preston brothers installment which is "Lucas", I've wanted to know him more. I knew there was something deeper behind all those bravado and this book did not disappoint. Few chapters in and I'm already inlove with it. I love Logan with all of his flaws and I've cried so much tears for him in this book. No joke. My heart's in constant ache for this kid, this man. It has been tough to read this book, to read on Logan's perspective without clutching my chest. I cried harder with Lucy and Logan's hospital scene. That was so powerful and so impacting for me. It really goes to show their strong bond as siblings and as a family.

This book is definitely way way way up in my Jay Mclean favorites and I do have a LOT.
It's also good to see that almost everyone in the family was highlighted in the book. I love the Prestons. I want to be a PART of the Preston family. Damn. They are such a crazy bunch.
I also love Miss Red, Aubrey. From the first time Aubrey said her first word in this book, I knew I'd love her. And damn, I do!! Oh, Lachy is such a beautiful and lovely character too. I'm already hoping for a Lachlan book in the near future.

God, it was such a good book. I wanted to hug each and everyone of them. I've had the craziest roller coaster of emotions in a span of few hours and it was all worth it. Thank you, Jay. Thank you, Logan.
