Logan & Thea (& Charlie)
Summary: Logan & Thea have a one-night stand in NYC several years ago. After trying to find one another for a few months, Thea gives up and moves to a small town in Montana to start her life over. NYC makes her feel small, unimportant, and crushed. Logan arrives in the small town many years later, and they reconnect with an unexpected (to Logan) addition to their family. Logan tries to convince Thea to move back to NYC and after a heartbreaking goodbye, Thea realizes that her heart is in Montana ... and Logan does too.
Thoughts: This was a fantastic first book to introduce us to Lark Cove - yet another one of Devney Perry's fictional towns that I want to visit. Logan is the ex-boyfriend of another of Devney's character (Emmaline) from the Jamison Valley series, so I'm glad that I read that first because I felt like I knew him and wanted him to have a happily ever after. I LOVED the way that Logan immediately embraced Charlie and was worried that she wouldn't like him. She was a real kid, who brought real spirit to the story. This single-mom, one-night-stand to forever, was such a delightfully quick read that I immediately picked up the second book in the series.
