Not my favorite Christie, though interesting twists. It's fun how she became more of a romantic later in her life, probably due to her own romantic status.
I like that there is yet another hidden murder, someone was accused a long time ago, but he had an alibi that will come a long time later due to circumstances.
The resolution was a complete surprise, but I should have seen this one, it was plain in the clues. Oh well, another time Agatha wins me over.
The Argyles is a family built during the war of unwanted and orphaned kids. The parents have pampered them in any way possible but the mother really wanted to boss them around. And some of them ressented it. Others were content with it.
When someone kills the mother, one of the kids take the blame and dies in prision just before his alibi is found out to be true. And now it's important to find out the truth unless all the innocent will be held suspicious and their lives suspended.
