For the first couple of years, the differences between me and Bron made us fucking voracious. As if they made up this great sprawling landscape that we could flood across, towards each other.—Later on, that big space became all mixed up with lethargy, and something like hopelessness. Like there was no amount of storytelling or sharing or talking that would close that gap.

This is such a beautifully told/illustrated way of showing depression and the effects it has on you and your loved ones. How hard it is to be told and shown that being who you are doesn’t exist and the way it really fucks a person up.

I loved this art style, it was quiet and loud all at once. The line work is just so stunning and reflects so many emotions without any use of sentences at times.

If you are looking for a quiet graphic novel that says so much, I recommend this one 100%.
