Can't Fix Cupid by Raven Kennedy
4.0

This was adorable and I loved it. If you've read any of the Heart Hassle books, it's vaguely tied to that Cupid world; however, this book doesn't happen in the fantasy world. It happens in our contemporary world. You don't need to have read any of the Heart Hassle to enjoy this, but it's kind of more fun if you had read it.

On that note, I can't believe I didn't read this earlier because billionaire romance is one of my favorite tropes! I liked Trix and Warren was my typical billionaire MMC that I like. I was trying to figure out how the heck they'd end up on the same plane and it was kind of clever how they did. The whole meet-cute between them was completely not remotely normal world, but it's fine because she's a cupid! I loved how she knew enough to understand where/what she was doing, but not having actually experienced things she was also really new at things. It was also really amazing how much Warren was helping her tick off her list. There were some funny moments in this too, which is par for the world so I liked seeing that thread in this book.

The spice in this was HOT. It was just enough to keep this plot over spice, but it was good spice and I liked the slow-ish burn. Well, the attraction was there from the get-go and the desk scene near the beginning was fun (and hot). Anyway...good spice!

The end was an interesting conclusion. I was also trying to figure that one out, but I should have known having read Heart Hassle series! It felt a little convenient because it's magic in a contemporary world, but I still liked it because it felt true to the Cupid world.

Overall, really enjoyed this and I hope Raven writes more cupid books!
