I really loved the tension Kingsley had with aspen I personally thought they were hot af…. The history of them was so perfectly written it made me like them and the part where Gwen fought them in the act I about died of laughter because Gwen didn’t know she was there and the whole relationship… and the plot twists I died it shook me to the core… this was better than empire of sin and hate by far…. I personally would read empire of desire (I loved this book) and then read empire of lust cause those 2 are standalone shut they have the same characters in it so it would just be a connected story one after the other if that makes sense. :)
