The Owner of His Heart: 50 Loving States, Pennsylvania by Theodora Taylor

2.0

The beginning made me think the plot was going to be more interesting than it actually was because it's a big fat liar. I was gobsmacked by how juvenile everything (and everyone!) turned out to be. So, that was a let down. On the other hand, I like Taylor's voice. I like it a lot. It's the reason I couldn't put this down. It's the reason why I've been one-clicking all of her books. I mean, besides the fact that even though her books are set in different states everyone knows everyone and everyone's got a black wife. Does a body good.
OH and in case you were wondering, the sex scenes were indeed delish even if Layla follows the romance formula of saying please constantly (*weeps*) but she's a please and thank you sort of girl so I'M GOING TO ALLOW IT.
