Love and Friendship by Jane Austen

5.0

What if Jane Austen was on Wattpad?

She would have begun with bad cover and poor grammar but like an unpolished gem, she would have attracted many readers and probably got a book deal.

Love and Friendship is a satirical piece of all the well-known and over-used stereotypes of literature of her time. Her writing this little tale at the age of 15 just adds to its appeal because fans could see her mind understand- joyfully replicate and criticize the society that she was exposed to through popular literature. This shall polish into much-celebrated pieces ahead.

Tendrils of fascination apart, this book is dramatic and funny. You can count that the story that is about to unfold is going to be nothing ordinary when a mother requests her friend to not reveal the misfortunes and adventures of the latter's life to her daughter.

However, mind you the book is not all joy and comedy. It comes with a wise moral: do not faint. Dear readers, run mad as often as you please, but do not faint.
