This book was more Tomorrow, When the War Began than Lord of the Flies , but at times it felt like it was missing something. Maybe there's more deeper, biblical meaning that went over my head, but it seems like plot elements just kind of appeared and disappeared without a whole lot of explanation. The premise was solid and Eve was a good narrator - I appreciated how the story was told, I just wish there had been a bit more to it.
