Beautiful World, Where Are You by Sally Rooney

4.0

Really elevated themes (religion, motherhood, sexuality) that weren’t present in Normal People so it felt like a more mature novel! I also really liked how it brought up pandemic life at the end and grounded the book in reality! I rarely relate to characters in novels, but could really find myself attached to Simon - hopefully that’s a good thing??
Only wish that there were more peaks and valleys in the story as it wasn’t as enjoyable to pick up and read as I would have hoped. And PUT IN QUOTATION MARKS!!!
