This book was such a chaotic mess that it felt like a fever dream. The idea of the magical pawnshop sounded so cool, but in the end, it didn’t really matter much. Instead, the story focused on the main character and her insta-love sidekick searching for her lost father. But the search wasn’t written well, and the whole book felt like a chaotic mix of random scenes—like the author was trying to cram in every magical idea she’d ever had about the worldbuilding. The scenes changed so fast that nothing really made sense to me.
By the end, I didn’t care about the characters or whether they found the MC’s father—I just wanted it to be over. The story was way too confusing, which made it impossible to enjoy.
