I gave this book three stars because it just wasn’t for me. The story and how it all tied together was really Interesting. Solving the mystery of the lost apothecary was the perfect distraction from her failing marriage. I love the symbolism that the little, blue apothecary vial holds. I was kind of disappointed at what Caroline chose to do with the vial at the end, haha. I felt like I could relate a lot to Caroline in the fact she changed her life and dreams for someone else and I’m glad she found herself again.
