This book was so much better than book 1. There was loads more hurt-me-bad action and almost no awful bible/god nonsense in comparison with the first book that was so preachy. Marcus Battle and Lola grew as characters, and there was some time switching to when Battle was back serving in Syria. I guessed the twist to this early on, but that didn't detract from the action.

I'm going straight on to the next book, so can't wait to see what evil ar$eholes Marcus, Lola & crew (yeah no spoilers) have to face next.
