𝙽𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚃𝚘 𝚂𝚎𝚎 𝙷𝚎𝚛𝚎 by Kevin Wilson is a weird, quirky, fast-paced, funny, and heartwarming read. The book's plot centered around Lillian. For some reason, Lillian got expelled and was forced to leave the elite boarding school where she met her perfect and beautiful best friend, Madison. Over the years, they kept in touch through letters, and one day Madison offered Lillian a job to take care of her stepchildren, who literally set themselves on fire.

At the very start, I was intrigued about how the story would turn out, and it did not disappoint. Although the writing was okay and full of curse words, what really made me like it were the themes, such as the importance of family, that Kevin Wilson added to this book. Reading through and seeing how Lillian bonds with and slowly loves the fire children, Roland and Bessie, was heartwarming and quite bittersweet. You could see she tries to improve and trust herself since the kids trust her. I loved how they became their own little family.

Although the book didn't include much scientific or paranormal explanation about how Roland and Bessie set themselves on fire, I didn't mind it one bit; I was along for the ride wherever the book took me, and it was such a good journey.

I'd recommend this book to whoever wants to read a funny and heartwarming book that centers around finding family.
