This book is really short, just around 150 pages. I really enjoyed it! The science was told very realistically without bogging down the story too much. I had no trouble suspending my disbelief in this. I loved the camaraderie among the crew as well. There was also commentary in the book about the purposes of science, and we change as individuals that I really enjoyed. So, if you want a short story about space travel and seeing new worlds, this is a great book for that purpose.
