Starting this second, and final, part of this duet, I had to go back and reread a synopsis to remind myself of the characters and storyline. Highly recommend taking this step!
Woven in the same world, this story is emotional and intriguing. The MMC is trying to repair his relationship, not giving up and pining for the FMC. Her own journey is full of conflicting reactions to the two powers she holds, one a darker outcome that is a heavy burden to hold. She is struggling with feeling like a tool for me, trying to push again control while leaning in for support.
I enjoyed this second book and was happy with the ending.
