The only reason I read this book was because I am huge fan of Bones. I love the characters and the chemistry between Bones and Booth. I wanted to read the books earlier but didn't due to fact the main character is worlds apart from Bones; the only thing they have in common is their name and their job title. Even their personalities seemed different. Where book Dr. Brennan understands peoples feelings and emotions, Bones lacks that and that makes the show a little funny. And after having read it now, I still like the show better. The book was violent and moved at a rather slow pace, for me at least. Anyway, I will still read the second book because I like crime/mystery/suspense/drama genre. But wish the books will turn out more like Bones. I would like some humour and wit and not dull and boring characters.
