Don Winslow must be some really cool cat because he can surely write in the lingo of a cool cat. The book reads almost like hip-hop lyrics. There is prose mixed with poetry mixed with abbrevi-cons all through when a couple of the characters are talking. The story itself it about a trio of folks--two pot breeders and mixers and their crazy girlfriend. I hear that there's a movie out, but I'm not sure I'm cool enough to follow the dialogue on film.
