Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

5.0

My dude Backman is just so good at characters. Even characters that exist for one line, like a daughter who's scared of having kids because of climate change and overpopulation. Never have I felt Backman is clueless about any aspect of the world. He has such a knack for bringing you in and presenting people in such a human light. I will never stop recommending him, everything about all of it is so passionate that even the imperfection is perfect.
Side note: I was super confused about everyone joking about the pistol being fake or real until I realized few other countries live like America where it's common for random citizens to walk around with an open carry gun on their hip. Like they're more likely to see a fake pistol than a real one?? What a world to live in.
