✨ Book Review: Children of Anguish and Anarchy by Tomi Adeyemi ✨

🎧 Audiobook Edition | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Whew! Just finished listening to the final book in The Legacy of Orïsha series, and let me tell you—what. a. ride. This series is a powerhouse when it comes to representation, resistance, and reclaiming power. 🔥✨

From the very beginning, I’ve been hooked on the characters, the richness of the culture, and the unapologetic way it blends magic with meaning. Yes, I had to translate a few words here and there (shoutout to context clues and Google 😅), but it made the experience even more immersive.

At its core, this book is about empowerment—rising above injustice, facing inner and outer battles, and fighting to create a world where everyone belongs. In today’s climate, that message hit even harder. 💪🏾

And can we talk about the audiobook narration? Absolutely stellar. It brought the emotion and intensity to life in a way that had me glued to every word.

I also saw that the Children of Blood and Bone movie is officially filming—y’all, I cannot wait to see this world come to life on screen. If it’s anything like the books, we are in for something incredible. 🎬📚

If you haven’t read (or listened to) this series yet, now’s the time. It’s powerful, poetic, and absolutely unforgettable.
