hnatola 's review for:
Ida B. the Queen: The Extraordinary Life and Legacy of Ida B. Wells
by Michelle Duster
emotional
informative
fast-paced
It through me off that a lot of this was not in chronological order so I kept getting confused about when in her life things were happening. There was also a lot of repetition of the events and I think it could have gone more into detail about them instead. I liked how the author showed Ida B. Wells' legacy in modern activism.
