Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

5.0

“Colored people don’t like Little Black Sambo. Burn it. White people don’t feel good about Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Burn it. Someone’s written a book on tobacco and caner of the lungs? The cigarette people are weeping? Burn the book. serenity, Montag. Peace, Montag.”—Page 57

Well, this is relevant.

“Let’s not quibble over individuals with memoriams. Forget them. Burn all, burn everything. Fire is bright and fire is clean.”—Page 57

Very relevant.

I’d laugh if Montag saved 50 Shades of Grey.

Little did the Bradbury know it would be those in social sciences trying censor things they don’t like.

Well now the Firemen are burning Montag’s house.

“Its really beauty is that it destroys responsibility and consequences. A problem gets too burdensome, then into the furnace with it.”—Page 109

Damn.
