The story has serious potential, and I haven't decided if I will try the next book in this series. The military jargon and overall dialogue among the characters is severely flawed. At the end the author says it is his first book set in space, so I'd be willing to bet the series improves. Also, I listened to the audiobook from Audible and the narrator may have been to blame for some of the dialogue issues because of how they read it. Like I said, the story has serious potential so I don't want to be too harsh on the first one.
