I remember vol 1 was confusing and did not tell a smooth story.  It really hasn't gotten any better.  The artwork is nice, but it's so confusing as to who is thinking what and who is saying what to whom on so many panels.  Also, the story telling is abrupt and herky-jerky.  We seem to be in one place in the scene and then it cuts to a moment later and as the reader I'm like, whoa! How'd we get there, what just happened?

Still, I do enjoy the characters even if it's a bit confusing as to what's going on.  Shun has gone home to see his parents after being away more than 7 years or something.  Mio is with him.  Shun seems depressed and deeply unhappy most of the story and no one seems to pick up on it.  I'm worried about him.

The story starts off traveling.  They take a plane, a ferry, a train and a car.  It reminds me of Planes, trains and automobiles.  Anyway.  I am interested in learning more about what's going on, but I'm not the biggest fan of Kanna Kii's writing.  It needs smoother telling, in my opinion.

I would like to find the show they made and watch that too.  I'm sure it would be much easier to follow, well, I hope so.
