At first her writing style sounds soo cringy (even made me giggle a few times)and needs a bit getting used to after which the whole book is pretty straightforward. Every moment the emotions of the MC and cast are explained with no hidden meanings. This makes you fly through the book but also makes the actual experience lackluster.
Regarding the plot it is as well not that complicated. Personally I foresaw most of the twists, but you get through the book so quickly that it doesn't even matter. The actul story is I guess satisfying as a start of the series. I definitely am curious how it would progress further though I don't know how many more scenes where Adam and MC try to do the deed and someone just happens to walk in I can read through.
