Murder at the Vicarage
by Agatha Christie
Agatha Christie is the queen of kills,
the merry mistress of mysterious murder,
weaver of worlds,
the enchantress of intrigue.
She makes the absolute best characters. However, I don’t like Miss Marple, which was disappointing to me considering the potential of her kind of character to be a truly whole person. But instead she felt flat and two-dimensional in this book, and a large chunk of the plot was balanced on the strength of the characters.
