I genuinely enjoyed this book so much! This is my first Alex Aster book and it won't be my last. I was really impressed with how addictive the writing is - I was sucked into the story and did not stop reading until I was done. Elle was such a well-rounded realistic cynic of a character and I adored her! And Parker...whoa boy, he was great as well. I was swooning left and right.

Spoilerthe 18 month time jump before the epilogue?!?!?!!? Absolutely ridiculous. Wayyyyy too long for Elle to "get her shit together". That pissed me off for a solid two hours.
