This was my first Moomins book, and it was in audiobook format. I'm not sure if one of those facts are the culprits here, but I didn't understand much of what was going on. I began with the series from this one because a guide that I consulted recommended it to start reading the Moomins' books, but there were too many characters, and it was not easy to follow who was who and how were they related with each other. The narrator sure did a good job, but I found some of the voices he made to be quite unbearable and, while I normally don't have big issues with thick accents, this time I couldn't grasp a lot of sentences.

Welp, I guess I will have to try again but in text format, and probably reading them in publishing order.
