The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick

This is one of those books that I dread finishing. I just wanted it to keep going on. The story instantly draws you in and the surprisingly lovable characters take you on a charming journey of healing and adventure, each in their own way. It reminded me of Major Pettigrew's Last Stand at times but with a more compelling story.
