The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan
4.0
“Nets can be traps. But they can also be safety nets. You just have to know when to jump in.”
I absolutely have no idea where to start. This was one of my most anticipated releases this year but it was not as funny as the first one. Maybe it's because Apollo matured a tiny molecular bit. The reader can feel the heaviness of the prophecy, the imminent destruction or whatsoever of the characters.
One thing I love about this book is that Apollo was pansexual. He had a lot of male and female lovers and it was just refreshing to read something with a character like that. This book was not as funny as the first one but it was still hilarious at some points.
Meg, was just so adorable in her own exasperating way. And Apollo was still funny af.
Can't wait to see more of these two. 4 out 5 freaking stars.
