kind of thought I would've give it 3 stars at least, and half away through out the book, I changed my mind.

of course, the book has some cuestionable attitudes when it comes to the characters and their relationships, but since it was written in the 90s I already expected something along those lines and still tried to give it an opportunity. didn't work but I don't blame it on the decade it was written.

the relationship between jane and cal made me feel dizzy, like I couldn't feel them knowing each other and falling for the other, it just happened and then it got a little bit confused, somehow, I don't even know how to properly explain, I just didn't feel it.

one thing it called my attention were jim and lynn, cal's parents. they had their own story line, we had povs of them and even tho I didn't love them It was entertaining and somehow original to include them in the story. lynn may have been my fav character, not that she was spectacular, but I liked her. that's the reason why I would give this .5 stars lol
