What You Are Looking For is in the Library
by Michiko Aoyama
The first chapter didn’t engage me. I put the book down for a couple weeks. The 2nd try (and chapter) was the charm. The book had to teach me how to read it. And it is charming and some of the life messages are quite deep. As a librarian, I imagine the lives of the knowledge seekers I’ve helped. These interactions may be significant but we may never know the details. The right book at the right time is powerful.
