If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would.
The amount of times I cried in this book? Uncounted. Tears of joy, tears of pain, tears of feelings seen for the first time in a while. I laughed, I cried, I broke my well practised poker face in the buss with some of those Spicier scenes.
As a long time fan of the series (since it started really) I've been waiting to get my hands on this book for a long while, and it did not disappoint.
If you love found family, self acceptance, a badass but loving FMC and a actually emotionally mature and loving love interest? This is the book for you.

Graphic: Chronic illness, Cursing, Death, Sexual content, Terminal illness, Blood, War, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Child abuse, Child death, Death, Suicide, Torture, Violence, Grief, Religious bigotry, Abandonment
There are a lot of heavy themes in this but the author handles it really well.
The backstory of one of the characters, the child, is very dark but it doesn't go too deeply into detail, more surface discussions and the children finds love and care.
