At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft

1.0

I'm going to preface this with I had to read this for a class I'm taking at uni.

I feel like this entire book could be summed up in half the time. The language is indulging, and not in a good way. It reads to me as "Look at me, I know big words and scientific language".
I will say the story is intriguing but it would be more intriguing if you gave us more.

Lovecraft gets you in but leaves you in the doorway.
Can I come in yet? No? Just going to leave me on the front porch? And when it finally gets more interesting, he's like "I'm done, bye." What? No!

It was a really frustrating to read and I hope my essay gets a pass.
