From the first line, I couldn't put this book down. This is not a happy, feel-good book. It's full of grit and the pain that comes with losing a loved one.
Although it has some You've Got Mail vibes with the whole writing letters to one another, that's where the similarities end. I felt engrossed in each character's loss and pain. I appreciated how the author showed how things can look to someone on the outside, but when you open yourself up and actually talk, you realize that things aren't always as they appear on the surface.
Moving, gripping, and definitely worth a read.
